Lancope® Showcases Advanced Security Analytics at Cisco Live Milan

Company will also present in conference sessions on leveraging the network as a security sensor

ATLANTA – Cisco Live Milan - Lancope, Inc., a leader in network visibility and security intelligence, will unveil the latest version of its StealthWatch® System for advanced security analytics this week at Cisco Live Milan. Lancope will also be included in several sessions at the conference, helping attendees embrace their existing Cisco infrastructure to fend off sophisticated cyber-attacks.

Attendees to Cisco Live Milan will be able to get an early preview of Lancope's StealthWatch System 6.6, featuring multiple enhancements including 1) new security algorithms for detecting various threat behaviors, 2) massive scalability up to 6 million flows per second, and 3) expanded support for several Cisco technologies including UCS servers, NBAR2 and Cisco ISE. Version 6.6 also features new mitigation capabilities through integration with Cisco ISE 1.3.

In addition to unveiling new technology, Lancope will be included in several conference breakout sessions on leveraging the network as a security sensor. With modern threats and determined attackers consistently bypassing perimeter defenses, it has become necessary to implement strong security in the network interior.

The Lancope sessions will show participants how they can leverage their existing Cisco infrastructure as a sensor grid for detecting a wide variety of threats that can lurk inside enterprise networks. The speakers will explore the use of technologies including NetFlow, Cisco ISE and the Lancope StealthWatch System to gain unprecedented network visibility and protect sensitive data from both external attackers and insider threats.

Lancope's StealthWatch System will be featured in the following sessions:

• Tuesday, January 27, 11:15 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. - BRKCRS-1449 - Introductory - Threat Defense for Enterprise Networks with Unified Access

• Wednesday, January 28, 11:00 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. - BRKGS-2541 - Lancope - Securing the Enterprise with Network Intelligence

• Wednesday, January 28, 2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. - BRKSEC-2136 - Intermediate - Preventing Armageddon: Finding the threat before it's too late

"Organizations can leverage their Cisco network infrastructure as a sensor to quickly detect and mitigate dangerous threats inside the network," said David Cocchiara, chief operating officer and chief financial officer at Lancope. "With Lancope's StealthWatch System, they can unlock the full potential of Cisco infrastructure, cost-effectively monitor the entire enterprise, and pinpoint suspicious behaviors that indicate risk."
