L-com Develops NEMA Enclosure Universal Pole Mounting Kit for Smaller Diameter Poles
NORTH ANDOVER, MA -- April 3, 2009 - L-com, a global leader in the manufacture of wired and wireless connectivity solutions, today announced a new universal pole mounting kit for its extensive line of NEMA rated weatherproof equipment enclosures.
The new universal pole mounting kit (Part Number HGX-PMT16) allows L-com's NEMA enclosures to be mounted on smaller diameter poles, securely and more precisely. Many installations encounter smaller diameter poles when installing NEMA enclosures in industrial locations. The new kit permits secure installations on 1-1/4" to 2" poles.
L-com's standard NEMA enclosure pole mounting kit (Part Number HGX-PMT13) is recommended for use on 2" to 4" pole diameters.
The installer now has the option to choose between either mounting kit depending on the pole diameter.
"L-com has developed this kit to help with installations in many industrial settings where the pole mount site for the NEMA enclosure is small in diameter. Our standard pole mounting kits could not accommodate the smaller pole diameters hence our new kit was developed and is now available to the installer," said Karl Blomgren, L-com's NEMA Enclosure Product Manager.
