“Summer Schools are very intense, due to the depth and range of material covered during the 5-days”, explained Summer School Co-ordinator, Joan Hallward. This year’s content of topics to be covered will include Manufacture of Metal Powders, Metal Injection Moulding, Modelling, Sintering and Hot Isostatic Pressing to mention but a few. Participants will be able to discuss and solve problems in the class room, as well as get hands on experience of the various PM processes in the Cracow University of Technology Laboratories. There will also be the opportunity to have theory put into practise, thanks to a visit to a local PM component manufacturer.
