Wausau, Wis.: Architect magazine awarded Kolbe the 2006 Architect's Choice for Excellence (ACE) Award in two categories: wood and plastic doors, and wood windows.
According to the magazine, hundreds of companies are nominated for an ACE Award. To earn this achievement, Architect's 88,000 readers received a ballot and voted on Kolbe for outstanding product durability, exceptional customer service, superior value, and innovative designs.
