Key Technology Appoints Steve Johnson as Director of Marketing


November 29, 2011 - Key Technology announces the promotion of Steve Johnson to the position of Director of Marketing. Johnson is responsible for leading worldwide marketing activities that build awareness for the company's automated inspection and sorting systems, specialized conveying, and processing equipment. He is overseeing the development and execution of product line strategies, branding, and marketing communications programs.

Johnson brings more than 20 years of operational leadership and engineering experience to his new position. For the past year, was Product Marketing Manager responsible for Key's family of vibratory conveyors. Previously, he was Vice President and General Manager for Gordon Composites and prior to that, he worked for Key for four years as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. Johnson holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from Weber State University.
