Key Filters Merges with Parkinson Technologies Inc


Woonsocket, RI (February 11, 2010) . . . Key Filters Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of melt filtration equipment, has merged with Parkinson Technologies Inc. The Key Filters product line of manual, hydraulic and continuous screen changers will continue within the Parkinson family of brands that include Parkinson Winders, Marshall & Williams Plastics and Dusenbery Converting Systems.

Key Filters and Parkinson Technologies have been affiliated since 1993 as both companies shared common ownership. Key Filters has operated out of the same building as Parkinson for several years, and the two companies have shared systems and technical resources.

"This transition will be seamless in the eyes of our customers," said John Whaley, Business Manager - Key Filters Products. "At the same time, our customers will benefit from the combined efficiencies realized by the two companies joining forces."

These efficiencies include a stronger Key Filters organization, created by the merging of engineering, sales and production resources with Parkinson Technologies. In addition, Key Filters equipment will now be serviced by the Parkinson Technologies field service organization.
