Ken Roberts Joins Eriez® Flotation Division as Director of Sales for North America
Delta, BC – Ken Roberts, who has more than 25 years of managerial experience in mining and minerals processing, has joined the Eriez® Flotation Division as Director of Sales for North America, according to Eric Wasmund, Global Managing Director at EFD.
Roberts has held a number of senior management roles at FLSmidth Inc, Outotec and Knelson Gravity Solutions (now FLS) in the last decade, and has a successful track record of demonstrated sales growth within those organizations and respective mineral processing product lines. He is a well known throughout the North American mineral processing industry.
Prior to these positions, Roberts rose through the ranks of operations at a number of Canadian concentrators and processing plants, from mill operator, metallurgist, foreman to plant superintendent. He had a number of international assignments during this time, including commissioning the world’s largest Knelson Concentrator Circuit at Minera Alumbrera in Argentina (now part of Glencore).

Roberts received his education from the Haileybury School of Mines in Haileybury, Ontario. He sat on the executive board of a number of industry associations, including the Vancouver CIM, CMP locals throughout Canada and the Mining Suppliers Association of BC. He is the recipient of the 2009 Canadian Mineral Processor’s Bill Moore Special Achievement Award.
Roberts will be based at EFD’s office in Delta BC and will report to Joe Querin, Deputy Director of Canada.
