Kaivac Donate's Equipment for First Ronald McDonald House in Poland
Hamilton, OH – A new Ronald McDonald House (RMH) has just opened in Krakow, Poland, and Kaivac, developers of the No-Touch Cleaning® and the OmniFlex™ Crossover Cleaning systems has helped the house get off to a clean start by donating a number of cleaning tools and equipment for the new facility.
Ronald McDonald House was started in 1974 in the United States. Today, RMH has chapters and locations in 60 countries and has served more than 5.7 million families since 2014.
The organization offers many services, but one of its key goals is to help keep families together when children must be sent to special, often distant, hospitals to be treated for difficult-to-cure diseases.
According to Tom Morrison, vice president of marketing for Kaivac, the company has donated the following items:
The OmniFlex Dispense-and-Vac, similar in many ways to a traditional No-Touch Cleaning system
OmniFlex AutoVac, which can be used in place of a traditional automatic scrubber
OmniFlex Microfiber Trolley System, which dispenses cleaning solution directly onto floors
Accessory storage and trash bags for the OmniFlex equipment
KaiFly™, a flat surface cleaning system for counters and tabletops
Microfiber SmartTowels™

"We are very grateful for the donation," says Katarzyna Nowakowska, executive director of the new RMH. "Providing a clean and healthy environment for our children and their families is imperative . . . these tools will make that job much easier."
Marc Ferguson, Kaivac's international business development manager, and Slawek Czuba, from partner KV Systems Poland, were directly involved with the donation. "It [RMH is certainly an excellent organization," says Morrison. "We thank Marc for bringing this to our attention and making it happen."
