Juki Wraps Up 25k Celebration with a Strong Presence at JISSO PROTEC

MORRISVILLE, NC - Juki Automation Systems, Inc., a world-leading provider of automated assembly products and part of Juki Corporation, recently participated in Juki's 25,000th machine shipped celebration held in conjunction with the JISSO PROTEC 2012 exhibition, which took place June 13-15, 2012 at the Tokyo Big Sight in Japan. Juki saw record booth traffic during the three-day event as well as a great deal of interest in its new technologies.

Under the concept of 3E evolution: Easy, Economical, Expandable, Juki showcased cutting-edge products that improve productivity and quality. Juki Automation Systems' President and CEO Bob Black commented about the recent exhibition, "Juki had five new products on display this year that drew quite a bit of interest. We were very pleased with the traffic and quality of leads that we received from the show."

The JPCA Show/Large Electronics Show/Microelectronics Show/JISSO PROTEC Show exhibitions form an important electronic circuit and electronic packaging industry event. In order to contribute to the development of the electronic circuits industry, which supports the global electronic industry, the industry came together to present superior Japanese electronic circuit technology to the world.

New products displayed at the show for the first time included the TR-7D High-Speed Matrix Tray Server, MDS Matrix Tray Server, high-speed Sentry, and the KE-3010 high-speed chip shooter displayed together with the KE-3020V high-speed flexible mounter as one production line. Also of great interest at the show, the JX-100LED now offers the capability to handle board sizes up to 1200 mm.

The new TR-7D High-Speed Matrix Tray Server and MDS Matrix Tray Server are designed specifically for die components to present the wafer or waffle tray directly to the machine. Both products feed parts via shuttle at the rear of the machine. The TR-7D high-speed matrix tray server is equipped with dual magazines and drive systems to present two different trays simultaneously. This method is required to meet the increased IC placement speed of the KE3020V and to eliminate wasted time during tray exchange while increasing the efficiency of placement.
