Johnson Matthey Expands Its Stationary Source Emissions Control (SSEC) Business Unit Sales Group


MALVERN, PA, May 30, 2007 - Johnson Matthey announced today two additional appointments to their Stationary Source Emissions Control (SSEC) sales team, as demand for JM's stationary emissions control equipment continues to increase.

John Carroll has been appointed Senior Sales Engineer and will be based at corporate headquarters in Malvern, PA. He is responsible for selling emissions control catalysts and systems for stationary gas and diesel engines in the Central part of the US. Carroll brings over 20 years of technical sales experience selling a variety of combustion & environmental air monitoring instruments and CEM systems. Before joining JM, Carroll was a regional sales manager for AMETEK Land, Inc., where he managed all sales and sales support activities for the Central US Region. Prior to that, he was a sales engineer for Cemtech Energy Controls, responsible for the development and sales of advanced instrumentation control systems. Carroll graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Paul Towne has joined JM as Senior Sales Engineer and will be based in California. He is responsible for selling emissions control catalysts and systems for stationary gas and diesel engines on the West Coast and will support the Johnson Matthey dealer network in California. Towne has over 10 years of technical sales experience selling a variety of thermal processing and environmental simulation equipment. He was district sales manager for Despatch Industries, responsible for Aerospace, Pharmaceutical & Semiconductor customers in three states. Previous to that position, Towne was Western Sales Manager for Semikron Corporation selling power electronic systems and components in eight Western States, Western Canada and Mexico. He has a B.S. degree in Engineering from Mindanao State University.
