Johnson Matthey Appoints Jeremy Harris Non-OEM Sales Manager for its Stationary Source Emissions Control (SSEC) Business Unit

MALVERN, PA, November 10, 2008 - Johnson Matthey announced today the appointment of Jeremy Harris as Non-OEM Sales Manager for its Stationary Source Emissions Control (SSEC) business unit, as demand for their catalysts and catalytic systems continues to grow.

In his new position, Jeremy will be responsible for directing SSEC's sales team and national network of dealers and distributors-- selling emissions control catalysts and systems for industrial processes, gas turbines and IC engines.

"The EPA and state air agencies continue to place greater and greater demand on stationary power generating equipment and manufacturing processes by promulgating tighter and tighter air emission standards. Helping our customers meet the stringent limits requires an organization of people and leadership who can work with them to develop the appropriate emissions solutions. Jeremy has the expertise and experience to lead this effort to help our customers meet the emissions challenges of today and tomorrow," said Michael Cinaglia, Vice President, Johnson Matthey SSEC.

Jeremy joined Johnson Matthey in 2001 and has worked in applications engineering, technical service and sales. He was most recently Senior Sales Engineer responsible for sales of VOC catalysts for process applications and oxidation catalysts for gas turbines. He was also responsible for selling SCR systems, diesel particulate filters and 3-way catalytic converters for
both gas and diesel stationary engine applications. His territory included North America and Asia. He graduated from Drexel University with a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering.
