John F. Lichtig of Lichtig EMC Consulting joins NTS as Senior Telecommunications Consultant
January 5, 2007 - Fullerton, CA -National Technical Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: NTSC) (NTS), a leading provider of engineering services, is pleased to announce the addition of John F. Lichtig, of Lichtig EMC Consulting, LLC, to the technical staff as Senior Telecommunications Consultant.
John has over 22 years experience in the telecommunications arena. During his 15 year tenure at Telcordia, he was responsible for electromagnetic interference systems designs, particularly radio frequency interference suppression, and establishment of RFI immunity and emission standards for telecommunications facilities (i.e., GR-1089). Mr. Lichtig was one of the original authors of GR-1089-CORE which addresses testing to Electrical and Safety issues in the telecommunications industry. Mr. Lichtig currently chairs IEC CISPR I WG3 overseeing the development of CISPR Publications 22 (ITE emissions) and 24 (ITE immunity). He also chairs ANSI ASC C63(TM) Subcommittee 3 (International Standardization) coordinating US EMC standards activities.
