John Cate Joins Klein Tools As Director of Marketing
LINCOLNSHIRE, ILL. - September 2006 - Klein Tools recently announced that John Cate has joined the organization as director of marketing.
With 30 years of experience, Cate will oversee all aspects of marketing, directing the marketing department, and developing and implementing strategic marketing plans that include product promotions, merchandising, trade shows and events, catalogs and collateral, publicity, advertising, graphics and the Web site.
Prior to joining Klein Tools, Cate served as group marketing and communications manager for Omron Electronics, global director of marketing and communications for Hollister Inc., and account director at Eclipse Communications.
He is the recipient of several professional awards including, AMA (American Marketing Association), Tower Communications and the Shell Oil "Best Practices."
Cate holds a bachelor's degree with honors from the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee.
He resides in Lincolnshire, Ill.
