Between 12-16 June, visitors to ITMA Asia, Shanghai will have the opportunity to view James Heal latest technological innovations in textile testing with their exciting new range of Testing Instruments and Test Materials in Hall W3 E21.

James Heal design, develop and manufacture testing instruments and test materials for fabric and garment manufacturers and independent test houses - all under one roof and entirely in the UK.

Our focus at James Heal is on producing high quality precision instruments and associated products, which allow retailers to feel confident in the quality of the garments being produced around the world. We want to continue to innovate, rather than imitate, and our in-house state-of the-art product design and laboratory facilities enable us to design, develop and manufacture extraordinary testing solutions.

At this year's ITMA Asia, we are exhibiting the following Testing Instruments:

Titan4

Titan4 is our brand new universal strength tester. It has been designed to test textiles, nonwovens and leather in various forms. This compact desktop strength tester operates in both compression and tension and comes with a range of tool-free interchangeable specimen grips.
It is available with a choice of load cells, up to 3000N, which are supplied in cartridge form to improve protection and facilitate safe handling and storage. It has all the safety features you would expect from a universal strength tester, such as soft close grips, but is packed with intuitive features that are design to make testing simple.

Titan4 works in conjunction with TestWise 2012, test analysis software that provides our customers a comprehensive library of International and National standards, as well as being packed with retailers' own test methods. Available in seven different languages (English, Turkish, Chinese, German, Spanish, Italian and French), TestWise 2012 uses familiar industry and standard specific terminology, so test results match up to the test standard that is being used.

The non-contact laser distension measurement gives accurate results, while the adjustable clamping pressure and automatic diaphragm correction prevents any slippage or specimen damage and improves precision. TruBurst3 has intuitive cyclic software which means that both experienced and inexperienced users can operate this testing instrument with ease.
