IQMS' Half Year in Review Forecasts a Vibrant Remainder of 2014
Six months of continuous growth in locations, customers, new manufacturing industries and award recognitions lay a powerful foundation
PASO ROBLES, CALIF. – IQMS, a manufacturing ERP software and MES developer with an ongoing, proactive commitment to its product and relationships, today announced its half year in review. The outset of IQMS' 25th anniversary has delivered steady and expected growth in all areas of the company, including customers, employees, revenue, locations and more.
2014 launched with a bang when half of IQMS' corporate-based employees moved into a second 30,000 sq.ft. building located on the company's headquarters in Paso Robles, Calif. Since then, IQMS has expanded into two additional sales and training locations in Mexico City and Charlotte, N.C. These new facilities will offer support to the steady number of new customer relationships IQMS has formed in both its wide range of established manufacturing industries and fresh areas such as ammunition, food and beverage, nutraceuticals and railway transportation.
In March, IQMS released an updated EnterpriseIQ software version with nearly 550 customer- driven developments and enhancements ranging across all segments of the system. The most recent release also included new state-of-the-art modules such as Advanced Warehouse Management, a web shopping portal and customizable, flexible business intelligence functionality. Not surprisingly, the first half of 2014 has seen an increase in the number of customers choosing to host EnterpriseIQ in the Cloud.
For the second year in a row, an IQMS customer was named Manufacturer of the Year by the prestigious Manufacturing Leadership Council. Plastic Molding Technology, Inc. (PMT) received top marks for two business transforming projects: a comprehensive continuous improvement initiative that included the implementation of EnterpriseIQ and a multi-dimensional sustainability project. Additionally, just last month, IQMS' Automation Team was recognized as Network Products Guide's 2014 Product Development Team of the Year for its achievements in expanding manufacturing ERP and shop floor technology.
Looking forward, IQMS is laying groundwork for another new major software release this year and IQMS customers are expressing excitement for User Group 2014, a three day conference packed full of training, best practices and networking on October 7-9 in Las Vegas, Nev.
