IQMS Expands Influence in North America with Two New Offices
Locations in Mexico and Charlotte, N.C. offer customers more support and training options, while steadily increasing IQMS' presence
PASO ROBLES, CALIF. – Â IQMS, a manufacturing ERP software and MES developer with an ongoing, proactive commitment to its product and relationships, today announced the opening of two new offices in North America. IQMS' increased regional presence in Charlotte, N.C. and foothold in Mexico City will deliver customers greater support and more training possibilities. The latest locations complement IQMS' expansion initiative into strategic locations around the globe.
Mexico is a recognized hub of manufacturing. Major automotive suppliers have been firmly established in Mexico for years and an increasing number of manufacturers are enjoying the benefits of Mexico's affordable labor, enviable transportation logistics and numerous free trade agreements. IQMS' Latin America operations are based out of Mexico City and will be headed up by Sales Manager Ronnie Pool.
"The potential for manufacturing success in Mexico is enormous," said Glenn Nowak, vice president at IQMS. "We have been supporting our customers with the Spanish version of EnterpriseIQ for years, but now it is time to offer a greater physical presence in Mexico and its neighboring countries. We are excited to more deeply explore the manufacturing industry of our neighbor to the South."
Additionally, IQMS recently signed a deal to open a Southeast regional office in Charlotte, N.C. Fully staffed as both a sales and training center, the North Carolina location will be overseen by regional IQMS Sales Manager Heather Preu. North Carolina is the nation's ninth largest manufacturing state and the city of Charlotte alone boasts more than 10,000 manufacturing firms, making it an optimal fit to demonstrate IQMS' commitment to the East Coast.
"Training is a critical element of both a successful implementation and ongoing satisfaction with a software system," continued Nowak. "From our Southeast regional office, manufacturers new and old will have greater accessibility to IQMS staff to train, learn and grow with the software."
