IQMS Exhibits Growth and Expansion During First Half of 2013
Heavy reinvestment in 2012 has delivered rapid advancement at IQMS for the beginning six months of 2013
PASO ROBLES, CALIF. – IQMS, a manufacturing ERP software and MES developer with an ongoing, proactive commitment to its product and relationships, today announced its 2013 half year in review. IQMS had forecasted 20 percent growth for 2013, but is currently exceeding that healthy figure and wrapped up the first half at 33 percent. This solid growth rate can be attributed in part to strong reinvestment that continued in 2012 and is subsequently delivering rewards for IQMS both internally and for its customers.
“We are extremely pleased with our growth rate in 2013,” said Randy Flamm, CEO at IQMS. “Over the past few years, we have worked hard to develop a fully comprehensive ERP solution, including extended modules such as eCommerce, quality and MES, in the core package. That essential value proposition is really resonating in the manufacturing marketplace.”
IQMS has signed more than 45 new customers in the first half of the year, many in wellestablished IQMS markets such as medical, automotive, assembly and packaging. But IQMS also made strides into some untapped industries, including freight and recycling, while expanding its customer base further into areas such as aerospace and defense, electronics and agriculture.
The first half of 2013 saw the release of two proprietary hardware offerings at IQMS: The second-generation shop floor control device, the RTStation 10.1, and the PMIU88 OEM Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), a PLC designed for the shop floor to control or monitor process variables. Additionally, IQMS announced two popular additions to the comprehensive EnterpriseIQ software suite: a product management add-in for the CAD application, SolidWorks, as well as multiple extended mobile apps to bring manufacturers more shop floor control from anywhere.
Reinvestment into IQMS’ infrastructure has been ongoing in 2013 as well. Construction on IQMS’ second 30,000 sq.ft. building at its corporate headquarters in Paso Robles, Calif. is on track to be completed by the end of November. In anticipation of the new building, IQMS has been hiring across every department at the company and currently employs almost 200 team members throughout its offices across the globe.
