Ipsen Announces New Director of Business Development for ARGOS, Janusz Kowalewski

CHERRY VALLEY, IL - Ipsen is pleased to announce that Janusz Kowalewski joined the Ipsen Team as Director of Business Development for ARGOS. Kowalewski holds a Bachelor of Science in economics with a minor in mathematics, as well as an MBA from Gannon University. He is a well-recognized expert in the thermal processing industry who, over the past 25 years, has worked in the United States, China, Europe and India. Most recently, Kowalewski was Managing Director and CEO at a large vacuum furnace manufacturer in Mumbai, India for two years where he was responsible for their sales and operations.

Before then, Kowalewski spent two years at a thermal processing company in China as Managing Director of Asia Operations. He also worked for a global manufacturer of heat-treating equipment located in Pennsylvania for 20 years. During that time, he worked in the positions of General Manager (China), Vice General Manager (China), Vice President, High Pressure Product Manager and Application Engineer, Director of Pacific Operations, International Manager and Sales Engineer. In addition, Kowalewski was selected as a member of the Heat Treatment Forum Hall of Excellence (2015), as well as selected as one of the 25 Most Influential People in Heat Treatment in North America (2009) by The Monty publication.
