October 29, 2008 - After recent report that Tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBPA) is on draft list of substances for priority examination under EU RoHS, IPC President Denny McGuirk dispatched letter to EU commissioners expressing organization's concerns for inclusion of TBBPA. McGuirk explained that TBBPA has already undergone comprehensive EU Risk Assessment, and recommendation for priority review of TBBPA under RoHS seemingly undermines EU's emerging chemicals policy and law under REACH.
