IPC to Hold Inaugural Test and Inspection Online Symposium

Case Studies, Technology Review Will be Presented

BANNOCKBURN, Ill., USA, - Electronic product and manufacturing trends continue to challenge both users and providers of test and inspection technologies at all levels of the supply chain. Offering solutions and case studies on test and inspection technologies, IPC -- Association Connecting Electronics Industries® will hold the first ever "IPC Test and Inspection Online Symposium: Technology Review and Case Studies to Improve Processes, Yields and Costs!" on July 24, 2012 from 8 am - 2:30 pm U.S. Central time.

The online symposium will provide test and inspection engineers around the world a cost-effective forum to learn solutions to issues that plague test processes, without having to leave the office.

"IPC understands that in today's climate of busy schedules and reduced budgets, it can be difficult to take time away from projects and travel. IPC has developed this online format to provide technical education to everyone rather than just those who have the ability to travel," explains Susan Filz, IPC director of industry programs.

The symposium will cover test and inspection issues about X-ray inspection, silver corrosion failures, environmental stress screening and more. Similar to a traditional conference session format, each session will be followed by a Q&A session with the speaker.
