Industry members are encouraged to highlight special achievements of their companies and their colleagues by nominating them for one or more awards, which will be presented at IPC Fall Standards Development Committee Meetings during week of October 12, 2013 in Ft. Worth, TX. Nominations are due by August 9, 2013.

IPC Issues Call for Awards Nominations
Hundreds of Leaders in Electronics Manufacturing Industry to be Honored
BANNOCKBURN, Ill., USA — IPC — Association Connecting Electronics Industries® announces a Call for Awards Nominations to recognize the countless volunteers who contribute their time and expertise to IPC standards development and other vital IPC activities. Industry members are encouraged to highlight the special achievements of their companies and their colleagues by nominating them for one or more awards. Awards will be presented at IPC Fall Standards Development Committee Meetings co-located with SMTA International the week of October 12, 2013, in Ft. Worth, Texas.   Committee Leadership Awards are presented to committee chairs upon completion of a standard or specific program. This award can also be bestowed upon an outgoing chairman who has made contributions over a period of time.
Distinguished Committee Service (DCS) Awards honor committee members who have contributed to a specific standard or other IPC program through consistent participation or regular contributions and ballot submission, as well as having made a significant impact on a document or project.
Individuals who have made exceptional contributions through participation in IPC are honored with the Special Recognition Award. Their activity can be short-term or a one-time event.
Nominations must include the candidate’s name and contact information along with a statement describing his/her contribution(s), how he/she meets the criteria and why he/she deserves recognition.
