Informative Object-Oriented Data Management Webinar Offered By Objectivity

Software developers will learn about the advantages of object-oriented database management systems.

Sunnyvale, CA June 7, 2007 -- Supporting growing demand for information about object oriented technology and its real-time data management platform Objectivity/DB®, Objectivity, Inc. today announces the continuation of its series of complementary educational webinars. The next in this series "What to Do When the Best of Breed Isn't Enough: Exploring Database Management Technologies" helps software developers and system architects understand how object-oriented database management systems (ODBMS) pick up where traditional "relational" databases have left off. The webinar will compare object-oriented verses relational database technologies and discuss when an ODBMS should be utilized. The webinar will also include discussions on how companies can build a data management system based on the Objectivity/DB platform that expands existing performance boundaries in data management into the highly desirable. The webinar will feature the perspectives of presenter Brian Clark of Objectivity. This online webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at 12 noon EDT / 9:00am PDT / 5:00pm GMT. ODBMSs Offer a Better Solution

In an ever-changing world where programming languages, hardware, systems and business processes are constantly evolving, enterprises need an agile data management system that will grow with the company. The ideal solution will expand and sustain itself while dynamically adapting to how it is used. It provides a single version of the truth as well as decision support and knowledge management.

Object-oriented technology best supports new kinds of applications, new media data types, relationships, distribution, and scalability. Many application architects and developers are now looking for a better solution, such as an ODBMS.
