Industrial Wireless Forum Highlights Technology Trends, Real-Life Success Stories


MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - Process engineers can learn the latest trends in industrial wireless networking and get insider tips based on real-life success stories at Phoenix Contact's Industrial Wireless Forum.

The forum will take place at Phoenix Contact's Customer Technology Center in Houston beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 4. The day will conclude with an Oktoberfest/Texas-style celebration.

The HART Communication Foundation will kick off the event at 8:30 a.m. with workshop on "Using WirelessHART Communications in Process Industries." Attendees will receive Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for participating in the workshop.

After lunch, Harry Forbes, senior analyst for the ARC Advisory Group, will deliver the day's keynote address, "Trends in Industrial Wireless and the Adoption Cycle." Afternoon workshops will include:
