Industrial Scientific Named Exclusive Sponsor for 'Mock' Meth Lab Exhibit at Industrial Hygiene Conference

The conference will be held May 15-17 at McCormick Place, Chicago, IL, U.S.A., and attended by industrial hygienists and occupational and environmental health and safety (OEHS) professionals from around the world.
The "mock" methamphetamine laboratory will be set up in the AIHce expo hall to demonstrate the health and safety issues faced by first responders, law enforcement personnel and OEHS professionals who deal with illegal drug labs and meth-contaminated properties. "Industrial Scientific is eager to discuss our gas detection solutions with attendees at the AIHce show," said Dave Kuiawa, Sales Manager, North and South America. The production of this illegal stimulant also poses a threat to the general public because of the dangerous mix of toxic and volatile chemicals used in its production. Proper gas detection equipment is essential for identifying potentially dangerous atmospheric conditions and to ensure the safety of individuals involved in the seizure and cleanup of clandestine labs.
