Improved Overmold Design For Bulgin Waterproof Connectors
ISC Engineering introduces a new line of injection overmold tooling for IP rated Bulgin connectors. Determined to stay ahead of the curve ISC offers new standards for IP rated connectors in anticipation of customers demand by introducing molded solutions for ruggedized light weight connectors which withstand harsh industrial environments for power and data signals.
Our molded solutions have the ability to withstand submersion and for years the only solutions for immersion ratings were gravity fed thermoset compounds and process. Originally immersion rated mold solutions were not cosmetically appealing nor low cost due to materials and labor. With ISC's injection molded solution, which will meet and exceed IP ratings, not only eliminates the high cost of mechanical strain reliefs and heat shrink boots. It's also a value-added solution which allows customers to add cosmetic features such as logos, thumb pads and anchors for protective dust caps by way of a threaded nut embedded into the overmold design.
In addition ISC has the capability of embedding the latest Printed Circuit Board assemblies into overmolded connectors which allows for greater functionality in a broader range of applications. In partnership with our wide variety of solutions for standard Circular style connectors, our modular tooling presents a host of existing tooling.
