illbruck acoustic Introduces Noise Control Solutions Brochure For Industrial Plants

Controlling noise for a pleasant work environment enhances worker productivity

MINNEAPOLIS- illbruck acoustic, inc. has a new brochure available that describes ways to control noise in factories, warehouses, offices and other work environments by treating interior spaces with sound absorption materials, barriers or enclosures. The brochure includes information about illbruck acoustic products including SONEX® Panels, Baffles, Curtains and Enclosures as well as PROSPEC® Barriers, Foams, Composites and Pipe Lagging.

"Retroactively controlling industrial noise is not an insurmountable hurdle. In fact, it is more achievable and affordable than many facility and plant managers realize," says Joerg Hutmacher, business unit manager, illbruck acoustic. "In addition to protecting workers from hearing loss and the company from workers compensation claims, reasons to reduce noise levels include improving communication among workers in the facility; reducing fatigue and impaired productivity related to high noise levels; and complying with OSHA regulations. illbruck's staff and distributors are experienced in working with industrial customers to find effective and affordable noise control solutions."

SONEX Panels and Baffles absorb noise in spaces where machine noise reverberates and echoes. SONEXcurtains(TM) are effective and economical materials for noise reduction in large open factory and production areas. Curtains can also be used as enclosures to contain machine noise. PROSPEC Barriers isolate noise and can be hung to create walls around noisy equipment, woven between wall studs and installed within the plenum as a wall extension between rooms with dropped ceilings. PROSPEC Foams installed around noisy machinery absorb noise. PROSPEC Composites contain sound-absorbing foam and noise-containing barrier. They easily install over walls or partitions, around machinery or inside engine compartments. PROSPEC Pipe Lagging wraps around noisy pipes.

All SONEX products contain illbruck's willtec® foam. willtec is Class 1 fire-rated, lightweight and resistant to humidity and fungal and microbial growth.
