Call for Papers for 2013 Electrical Safety Workshop (ESW), taking place in Dallas, TX from March 11-15, has May 1, 2012 deadline. Non-commercial technical papers should aim to advance ESW's mission of accelerating application of improvements in human factors, technology, and managing systems that reduce risk of electrical injuries; stimulating innovation in overcoming barriers; and/or enabling sustainable improvements in prevention of electrical accidents and injuries.

2013 Electrical Safety Workshop: Call for Papers
Dallas, TX - Be a part of the Electrical Safety Workshop and help to "change the culture of electrical safety." For over 20 years, the IEEE IAS Electrical Safety Workshop (ESW) has been source of groundbreaking papers and research that have shaped today's electrical safety standards (such as NFPA 70E and CSA Z462), and practices. Ken White, the ESW Technical Program Chair, has announced the Call for Papers, for the 2013 Electrical Safety Workshop.
"We have been fortunate to have attracted a consistently high quality of presenters and papers over the years," explains White. "In the recent Daytona ESW, we had 28 presentations -- ranging from case studies, statistical analyses, and alternative arc flash calculation models, to insights into international domestic and standards, and explorations into change-management and leadership."
The diversity and range of papers is one of the reasons why this conference is rated as a 'must attend' by so many industry leaders." The ESW is currently accepting proposals for technical papers. Papers selected and approved by the ESW Technical Program Committee, will be presented either in a workshop forum or poster format. Proposals are due not later than May 1, 2012. The next Electrical Safety Workshop will be held March 11th through 15th, 2013, at the Dallas Anatole Hilton. According to Dan Doan, the current Organizing Committee Chairman, "It's the perfect location for our 20th annual workshop. We expect a record turn-out with leaders from around the world in the electrical safety community."
