IDI's web site, www.idinet.com, received two awards: the Manufacturing Standard of Excellence Award and the Electronics Standard of Excellence Award. The Standard of Excellence recognizes a web site with an overall score higher than the average score for its industry. This was the first year for the Electronics Category.

Panasonic, Boston Acoustics, Sony, Phillips Electronics and IDI were among the thirteen winners of the Electronics Standard of Excellence. Of these, IDI was the only spring probe or connector company to be recognized in the Electronics Category.

Members of the IDI web team honored were Karen Bock, VP of Marketing; Lisa McCoy, Web Designer; and Larry Fields, Programmer.

Web Award entries were judged on web site design, copy writing, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation, and use of technology.
