Mailntercept(TM) links into the Internet Information Services (IIS) SMTP service on the Microsoft Exchange 2000/2003 server and identifies all internal messages passing through MS Exchange. Mailntercept(TM) directs the intercepted internal messages to Tablus Content Alarm NW for granular inspection of message properties, content, and attachments, ensuring complete enforcement of Intranet email policies. Interception/bypass rules can be applied to individual users, static groups, and/or LDAP or MS Active Directory dynamic groups of users. Enforcement actions include quarantining, blocking and encrypting transmissions of sensitive content.
