iGPS Announces Appointment of Veteran Retail Executive

Operator of world's first all-plastic, RFID-tagged pallet pool hires Wal-Mart's Ron Reed to oversee retail operations

ORLANDO, Fla. - February 28, 2007 - Intelligent Global Pooling Systems (iGPS Company LLC), operator of the world's first RFID-tagged all-plastic pallet pool, announced today that Ron Reed has joined the company as Director of Retail Operations. Reed will be responsible for managing operations with retailers who receive merchandise on iGPS pallets and will personally oversee relationships with the nation's largest retailers.

"Ron is extremely well-respected in the retail community and we are delighted that he has joined our team," said Bob Moore, CEO of iGPS. "His detailed knowledge of merchandising, operations and warehouse administration will be of tremendous value to iGPS and our growing list of customers."

Reed was employed at Wal-Mart for the past 27 years, serving in a broad range of capacities. He recently served as corporate packaging manager, responsible for packaging, labeling and markings for all warehouse receipts, and managed all warehouse platforms and shipping issues. Prior to that, Reed was director of small store merchandising and supervisor of operations for Wal-Mart's small stores.

He is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and received his post-graduate degree in School Administration from the University of Arkansas.

iGPS is the world's first large-scale pallet supply service to provide RFID tags in every pallet, enabling shippers and receivers to track shipments in real time, reducing the logistical cost of shipping and allowing companies to verify food and drug safety, as well as security issues. iGPS offers the ability to rent plastic pallets and avoid the ongoing expense of owning and maintaining wood pallets.

Additionally, because iGPS plastic pallets are 30 percent lighter than pallets made of wood, switching to iGPS could remove several billion pounds of non-value freight from the shipping and supply-chain infrastructure, resulting in huge potential fuel savings.
