Hypertherm Promotes Jenny Levy to North American Marketing Director

Hanover, NH, USA - In response to the strong growth of Hypertherm Inc.'s North American
business, the company has created a new position - North American Marketing Director -
and has promoted Jenny Levy to that role. Ms. Levy has been with Hypertherm since 2004
and has been serving as Team Leader for the Call Center.

"Jenny has demonstrated strong leadership competencies," wrote Evan Smith, Vice
President, General Manager, in a recent internal announcement. "She has a quick and clear mind for strategy, and a natural bias for positive action."

An expanded focus on new Hypertherm products and increased end-user reach, particularly
as it relates to automated systems, has amplified the demands and challenges placed on
North American marketing. Ms. Levy will oversee the combined marketing resources of the
newly-formed North American Marketing Team and the Call Center. She will report to Jeff
Deckrow, Director of North American Sales.

Jenny Levy received her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. Prior to her MBA studies, she had achieved a director-level position within the regional marketing operations of McMaster-Carr Supply Corporation.
