Hypertherm Introduces New On-site Training Programs for Users of Hypertherm Integrated Cutting Solutions Products

HANOVER, N.H. – Hypertherm, a U.S. based manufacturer of plasma, laser, and waterjet cutting systems, today announced two new training programs for customers who use any of its Built for Business Integrated Cutting Solutions plasma products. These products can include one or more of the following: HyPerformance plasma, EDGE Pro or MicroEDGE Pro CNC, ArcGlide THC, and ProNest software.

The first training is designed to provide a solid framework for machine operators. The program covers everything from loading a part program into an EDGE Pro or MicroEDGE Pro CNC to successfully cutting a part on a HyPerformance plasma cutting table. Operators will learn about system set-up and operation, consumable selection and optimization, gas selection, operator level maintenance, troubleshooting, and more.

The second training, designed for service and maintenance personnel, covers troubleshooting, periodic maintenance, and repair issues. Maintenance workers will learn how to perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance jobs that will reduce system downtime and the need for emergency repairs.

No matter which training you choose - operator, maintenance, or both - a highly trained Hypertherm technical engineer will travel to your place of business, giving you and your team the opportunity to learn on your own equipment. Each training lasts about 8 hours, so a company signing up for both the operator and maintenance trainings would receive 16 hours of instruction. Both training programs are easily modified to accommodate different factors such as experience level and business needs. More information is available at www.hypertherm.com/on-site_training.

“Our Built for Business Integrated Cutting Solutions line of products are a powerful combination that allow businesses to cut bolt-ready holes, create beveled edges on parts, and double part production with Rapid Part,” said Clayton Gould, a product marketing manager at Hypertherm. “Though the entire set-up is among the easiest to use in the industry, proper training on both the operation and maintenance of these systems is critical to getting the most out of your cutting system.”

Hypertherm designs and manufactures advanced cutting products for use in a variety of industries such as shipbuilding, manufacturing, and automotive repair. Its product line includes plasma, laser and waterjet cutting systems, in addition to CNC motion and height controls, CAM nesting software, and consumables. Hypertherm systems are trusted for performance and reliability that result in increased productivity and profitability for hundreds of thousands of businesses. The New Hampshire based company’s reputation for cutting innovation dates back nearly 50 years to 1968, with Hypertherm’s invention of water injection plasma cutting. The 100 percent associate owned company, consistently named one of the best places to work in America, has more than 1,300 associates along with operations and partner representation worldwide.
