Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Safety Report Launches Redesigned Website

Washington DC – The Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy Association (FCHEA) is pleased to announce a new look for the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Safety Report, a bi-monthly electronic publication which provides information on hydrogen and fuel cell regulations, codes, standards, and related safety information.

“This free publication provides stakeholders in both the public and private sector with an efficient and up-to-date resource for identifying and gaining access to the appropriate codes and standards to further advance commercialization of the industry,” noted Karen Quackenbush, FCHEA Senior Technical Specialist, and Chief Editor for the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Safety Report since its inception.

The re-launched website features modern design and greater functionality, including keyword searching and a new calendar that allows users to add events, meetings, deadlines, and conference information directly to their calendar.

The Safety Report website also provides information on the National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Codes and Standards Coordinating Committee (NHFCCSCC), a monthly forum for collaborators in the hydrogen and fuel cell codes and standards community.

“The NHFCCSCC facilitates information exchange among key experts throughout the fuel cell and hydrogen industry supply chain engaged in setting technical requirements for fuel cells and hydrogen energy systems, ensuring activity coordination and collaboration from local, state, national, and international authorities for this rapidly growing technology,” Ms. Quackenbush explained.
