Hydratight Announces Global Appointments


Global joint integrity specialist, Hydratight has made a number of appointments to its global team.

Adriano Bersanelli has been appointed as Hydratight's global procurement leader. Adriano, whose previous experience includes senior management positions in companies such as ASPEL Group, GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals, FN Herstal and Thermo King, will co-operate closely with Hydratight's sister companies - Cortland and Enerpac - to reduce costs, improve efficiency and enhance the group's supplier base.

Chris Prior-Jones joins Hydratight's Walsall team as client account manager, working with the company's connector project and engineering teams. Chris is a highly successful and experienced international business director, with wide sales and distribution management skills and extensive experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical and OEM markets.

The final addition to the Northern European team is Nicola Davis, who joins the company as a commercial controller, based at Hydratight's Aberdeen facility.

Maggie Lim comes to Hydratight in APAC (Asia-Pacific) as marketing specialist for the region. Previously with Schneider Electric, Maggie has more than a decade of experience in marketing communications, market research and strategic marketing. She will be based in Singapore, working closely with the company's products and communications managers to implement global marketing strategies in her region.

Dave Farquharson becomes services operations leader, EMEA. Based in Aberdeen, Dave brings over years' experience. Before joining Hydratight, he was director of Europe for Granite International (GE), responsible for the European business. He has also held leadership positions at Dresser Rand, Solar Turbines, General Electric Power Systems. Dave has a MBA in business and change management from the Robert Gordon University and is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, demonstrating his thorough knowledge of Six Sigma principles and Lean enterprise concepts.

To take advantage of potential markets and consolidate its position in the regions, sales responsibility for the Caspian Sea and form Soviet Union, and for Africa and the Mediterranean, has been split. Alain Bittinger has been appointed as Caspian Sea and Russia sales leader. Emmanuel Draux becomes Africa and Mediterranean Sea sales leader.
