Huber Names New Presidents of CP Kelco and HEM as It Promotes from Within

EDISON, N.J.-- Sept. 22, 2006--On September 11, 2006, the J.M. Huber Corporation announced the promotion of two individuals within the organization to lead its two largest businesses: CP Kelco and Huber Engineered Materials (HEM).

Huber promoted Don Rubright, who had served as President of HEM since 2004, to the position of President of CP Kelco. He takes over for Tom Lamb, who recently left CP Kelco.

Michael Marberry, Huber's Chief Financial Officer, will take over for Rubright as President of HEM and will be leaving his position as Corporate Chief Financial Officer.

To fill the CFO position, Huber will be appointing Jeffrey Prosinski from Vice President of Finance & Controller to Chief Financial Officer of Huber.

Robert Currie, Vice President, Chief Public Affairs and Communications Officer of Huber, noted, "Promoting three individuals from within our own organization demonstrates the strength of our Leadership Development Process. We have made it a priority to have qualified people who are ready to step up."

Rubright brings a great deal of experience to CP Kelco--a global leader in the hydrocolloids industry. He served as the Integration Manager for Huber when the company acquired CP Kelco in 2004.

Rubright has a B.S. in accounting from Bucknell University and an MBA from Wake Forest University.

Marberry has been with Huber since 1997. In addition to his prior role as CFO, he has served as head of Corporate Strategy & Development for Huber. He will build on Rubright's success at HEM to drive the business forward. Rubright commented on Marberry taking over his role, "I have worked with Mike since coming to Huber and I know he will take HEM to the next level of performance and growth."

Marberry was involved with a number of prior strategic moves that helped shape HEM, including the combination of Huber's chemicals and minerals businesses to form HEM as a single unit. He also led Huber's mergers and acquisitions activity, which will be an added benefit to HEM as the business seeks to identify new opportunities to expand.

Marberry holds both a B.S. and an M.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Kentucky. He also has an MBA from Dartmouth.

In taking over Marberry's role as CFO, Prosinski will bring 20 years of experience in finance to his new position. Marberry acknowledged Prosinski's efforts, "Jeff has played a key role in strengthening our company's tax, audit and controllership functions since he joined Huber in 2003. His breadth of experience is a valuable asset." Prosinski also led Huber's compliance efforts for the U.S. government's Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

Prosinski holds a B.S. in accounting from Miami University and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Currie concluded, "We continue to develop strong leaders throughout Huber and we are pleased to fill these senior positions from within our company."
