Hubbell Lighting Wins Best Retrofit for Second Consecutive Year
The Product Innovation Awards, or “PIAs,” are Architectural SSL Magazine’s annual program to determine and honor the most innovative LED/solid-state luminaires and fixtures on the market, while also recognizing the companies behind the components that make up these light sources.
In addition to winning five product-related PIAs, Hubbell Lighting was awarded the prestigious Best Renovation/Retrofit for the second year running. Judges noted that the project with Karl Chevy is one that “other dealerships and parking property management companies should follow.” Read more HERE.
Retrofits continue to be one of the most important markets for LED manufacturers. In 2016, Hubbell’s project with Princeton University won the PIA for Best Renovation/Retrofit.
The PIA program also recognizes leaders in categories ranging from those conducting cutting-edge R+D, to those helping in the development of standards as well as those pushing to make solid-state lighting a truly sustainable technology.
