HP Compatible 1000Base-SX SFP Transceiver with DDM Function

Toronto, Canada - GAO Fiber Optics (www.GAOFiberOptics.com) is offering its HP compatible 1000Base-SX SFP transceiver with DDM functions which is fully compatible with original HP fiber optical transceivers. It is designed for multi-mode fiber (MMF) and operates at a nominal wavelength of 850 nm.

This HP compatible 1000Base-SX SFP transceiver, model C01CP101, is specially designed for Gigabit Ethernet, Fiber Channel, Switch to Switch interface and High speed I/O for file servers. It is equipped with SFP 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability. It provides a high operating data rate of up to 1.25 Gbps and a long transmission distance of up to 80 km over 9 micron single mode fiber.

This optical transceiver consists of two sections: the transmitter uses a 1550 nm DFB laser, and the receiver section uses an Integrated InGaAs Detector Preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC. It also features duplex LC connector, low power dissipation and RoHS compliance. In addition, the transceiver is compliant with SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) Specification and SFF-8472.

This HP compatible 1000Base-SX SFP transceiver with DDM function belongs to GAO's family of HP Compatible Optical Transceivers. This line also includes HP Compatible 10GBASE-SR SFP+ Transceiver which is compliant with Gigabit Ethernet and Fiber Channel standards making it ideally suited for 10G Datacom and storage area network applications, HP Compatible 10GBASE-LR SFP+ Transceiver which operates at a wavelength of 1310 nm and is designed to transmit and receive optical data over single mode optical fiber for link length of 10 km, and HP Compatible 1000Base-ZX SFP Transceiver which is designed for single-mode fiber (SMF) and operates at a nominal wavelength of 1550 nm.
