HP Appoints Neal Woods to Lead Worldwide Operations for Imaging and Printing Group


PALO ALTO, Calif., Jan. 11, 2008 - HP today announced the appointment of Neal
Woods as senior vice president of worldwide operations for the company's Imaging and
Printing Group (IPG), effective Jan. 22.

Woods, 51, will be based in San Diego and have responsibility for driving IPG's global
manufacturing, supply chain operations, worldwide planning and quality functions. He
also will lead HP's worldwide Consumer Support, Global Logistics, Environmental and
Strategic Supply organizations.

Woods comes to HP from Cisco, where he was most recently vice president of global
manufacturing operations. In his seven years at Cisco, Woods led the company's global
supply chain, 17 manufacturing sites and 15 logistics centers.

experience," said Vyomesh Joshi, executive vice president, Imaging and Printing Group,
HP. "His impressive track record of implementing systems and process improvements for
multi-site, globally disbursed and outsourced supply chains will provide immediate value and perspective to our organization."

Woods replaces Mike Fawkes, who is retiring from HP after 29 years of service.
Woods holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from Kansas State
University.
