Honeywell Signs Distributor Agreement with Coneco de Puerto Rico Inc.

Caribbean Distributor Will Provide High-Profile Honeywell Solutions, Including Experion, Batch Management and Instrumentation

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, March 4, 2010 - Honeywell (NYSE:HON) today announced it has signed a distributor agreement with Coneco de Puerto Rico Inc., one of the largest providers of industrial automation equipment and solutions for the Caribbean region. Coneco will work with Honeywell to provide automation and control solutions across the Caribbean and be the primary regional distribution channel for Honeywell's growing line of field solutions - including wireless and field instrumentation.

Coneco serves a wide array of industries including, food and beverage, life sciences, power, water, and water treatment.

"Coneco's goal is to provide simple but effective solutions, and Honeywell's core portfolio falls right in line with that mission," said Enrique Medina, president, Coneco de Puerto Rico. "Honeywell's solutions will add great value to our customers' operations by reducing complexity while delivering relevant process information to operators and engineers."

The distribution agreement will enable Coneco to provide facilities in the region with increased access to Honeywell technology such as Experion® control systems and Experion Batch Manager, Profit Suite(TM) and SentientSystem advanced controls. Coneco will also provide Honeywell's wide range of manufacturing execution systems (MES) and OneWireless(TM) industrial wireless applications to customers. These solutions optimize plant efficiency and output as well as reduce energy usage and emissions. Additionally, they can help improve production, reduce costs and increase compliance in batch-oriented operations such as specialty chemicals, pharmaceutical, food and beverage facilities.

"As a long-time player in the region, Coneco understands the unique needs and challenges of its Caribbean-based clients, which matches up well with Honeywell's philosophy of being deeply entrenched in our customers' businesses and industries," said Jose Rodriguez, regional sales manager, Honeywell Process Solutions. "Manufacturers become more competitive by improving overall plant safety, reliability, efficiency and sustainability. That starts with ensuring the right process information gets to the right people at the right time."
