MONTREAL, Feb. 7, 2006 -Honeywell (NYSE:HON) will showcase its newest products for the pulp and paper industry at EXFOR 2006, the world's largest annual exhibition of technology for the manufacturing of pulp and paper products. Honeywell's broad portfolio of pulp, paper, printing and continuous web solutions improve performance of process automation and business optimization systems.

Among the offerings on display at Honeywell's booth, No. 1144:

Precision FotoForm Formation Sensor. Honeywell's first online paper formation analyzer gives manufacturers a new method of analyzing paper formation, which will speed the quality-control process and reduce process paper-troubleshooting time. The sensor provides a wide scope of information on a number of features that influence the formation of paper including variability, light and dark spots, MD floc size, CD floc size and MD/CD floc shape.

Honeywell ProWeb3G. This new system incorporates the latest in web monitoring technology by recording the moving paper web and quickly processing and analyzing recorded images from inside the machine in real time. In addition to the original ProWeb features, such as Region of Interest Triggering, Real Time Break Analysis and Web Release Angle measurement, Honeywell ProWeb3G can also support high frame rate, color, pinhole and next generation high-speed, Gigabyte Ethernet cameras.

Quality OptiMISER(TM) for Quality Control System (QCS). This data-analysis tool helps Honeywell Quality Control System customers in the paper industry make faster and more accurate production decisions. Quality OptiMISER integrates quality historian, laboratory and customer data into existing Honeywell Da Vinci and MXProline QCS systems. It stores product quality data and analyzes it against customer requirements to increase process efficiency and improve final product quality.
