Honeywell Launches New North American Channel Program for Data Collection and Wireless Communication Solutions

Resellers Can Access One of Industry's Broadest and Most Advanced Product Portfolios

BLACKWOOD, N.J. - November 10, 2009 - Honeywell (NYSE: HON) today announced the launch of a channel reseller program for its Scanning & Mobility business in North America. The program is aimed at building long-term relationships with qualified value added resellers in the United States and Canada. Participating businesses will benefit from a clear channel structure and extensive resources to help them remain focused on their own business and achieve long-term profitable growth.

Value added resellers will be able to tap Honeywell's sales, marketing and technical support resources; access a dedicated web portal; enroll in a range of training courses; and benefit from the reputation and reach of the Honeywell brand across various markets.

"We want to equip our value added resellers with an innovative program that will ensure mutual business success," stated Laura Kelleher, Americas Channel Marketing Director, Honeywell Scanning & Mobility. "We believe that by offering a comprehensive channel program with financial incentives, expertise and skilled support, we can build lasting relationships."

The Honeywell Scanning & Mobility product line will allow value added resellers to offer solutions for vertical markets such as retail, healthcare, and transportation and logistics. Its products range from cordless and corded hand-held bar code scanners and rugged mobile computers to self-service kiosks and bar code verification equipment. The Honeywell Scanning & Mobility portfolio is complemented by advanced software, service and professional solutions that enable customers to more effectively manage their data and assets.

"We are pleased to present a new channel program that supports our resellers by delivering an unmatched portfolio which combines the best of the products formerly offered by Hand Held Products and Metrologic," said Kelleher. "With these two businesses under its banner, Honeywell has established itself as a major player in the automatic identification and data collection (AIDC) space and has reaffirmed that the channel can rely on the Honeywell name."
