Expanded service to compressor operators in British Columbia and Northern Alberta
Fort St. John, B.C., December 14, 2006 - Effective December 1, 2006, HOERBIGER (Canada) Ltd. has acquired N.E.W. Machining Ltd.. Under the agreement, N.E.W. Machining is now a division of HOERBIGER (Canada) Ltd.. With this step, HOERBIGER continues to broaden the scope of its service capabilities in Canada, consistent with the global initiative "Reliable Performance of Compressors" launched in 2001.
Since 1998 HOERBIGER (Canada) Ltd. in Fort St. John, B. C. provides the Canadian market with compressor valve, ring and packing sales and repair services. With the acquisition of N.E.W. Machining Ltd., HOERBIGER (Canada) Ltd. now offers full scale machining services for compressor operators in British Columbia and Northern Alberta which include:
-Repair, reconditioning and retrofits for valves,
pressure packing and oil wiper packing
-Cylinder repair, relining
-Piston rod repairs and manufacturing
-Piston repair and manufacturing
-Line boring
-Sleeving engine blocks
-Welding and spray welding
-Procurement of any part needed

N.E.W. Machining Ltd. founder, Reeve Aulin, brings over 30 years of machining experience to HOERBIGER and has been operating in the Fort St. John B.C. area since 1979. HOERBIGER (Canada) Ltd. will support N.E.W. Machining with product expertise for sales and service of valves, rings and packing, check valves, HydroCOM and monitoring. Field sales and service technicians offer quick, convenient service to remote operators.
