Higginbotham Company Expands "One Source" Material Handling Capability with Winkle
Birmingham, AL - G.T. Higginbotham Co., Inc., a leading provider of aftermarket services to power transmission and mill equipment to southern industry, has now expanded into a wide range of above-the-hook and below-the-hook crane capabilities as newly appointed agents for Winkle Industries.
Winkle, based in Alliance, Ohio, is the market leader in engineered material handling equipment and engineering services for mill-duty applications. "We were looking for an organization that would have a synergistic relationship with Winkle Industries. With Higginbotham, we have found it," said Mark Volansky, Director of Sales & Marketing for Winkle Industries. In announcing the new relationship between the companies, Winkle President Joe Schatz said, "The principals at Higginbotham share Winkle's commitment to simplifying our customers' field service requirements for material handling equipment. Higginbotham will be Winkle's authorized agents in the states of Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee.
