The literature, Solutions for the Solar Power Industry, offers technical data on products for elastomeric bonding and sealing, rigid bonding, and potting.
o The seven Loctite® products highlighted in the brochure for elastic bonding provide high resiliency, high elongation, and good adhesion for module-to-frame, module-to-bracket, mirror reflector, and concentrator lens bonding, as well as junction box mounting, and steel bracket-to-mirror panel bonding.
o For rigid metal bonding, the literature offers data on six structural adhesives formulated to provide durable, strong bonds for frame construction and metal bracket assembly.
o For junction box potting, the brochure highlights two-component, non-corrosive silicones that adhere well to plastics, exhibit flame resistance, and provide excellent electrical insulation properties.
