Guam Department of Education Live on First Implementation Phase of Tyler Technologies' Munis® Enterprise Resource Planning Solution

Guam DOE targets July 2012 for full implementation of Munis

Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) today reported that the Guam Department of Education (GDOE) has successfully implemented financial applications from Tyler's Munis® enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution. The GDOE originally purchased Munis in September 2011 and expects to be live on all Munis ERP applications, including human capital management and content management, by July 2012.

Tyler Technologies' dedicated staff in Guam, an unincorporated territory of the United States located in the western Pacific Ocean, has worked side-by-side with the GDOE's Central Office staff to convert documents and meet strict deadlines for the first phase of the Munis launch. Once all Munis applications are implemented, GDOE employees and vendors will be able to access crucial information through self service applications via a secure Internet connect.

"The Guam Department of Education was able to implement Munis so swiftly due to the broad range of the solution's functionality that comes standard in the system, and due to the dedication and teamwork of Tyler and GDOE employees," said Richard E. Peterson, president of Tyler's ERP & School Division. "Munis will provide the GDOE with greater data accuracy and reporting transparency, as well as provide staff and vendors increased efficiencies through self service applications. We look forward to a long-term partnership with the GDOE."
