Greenlee Names Robson as Vice President of Sales and Marketing

ROCKFORD, Ill. June, 2008 - Greenlee, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, has announced that Bill Robson will be joining the Greenlee leadership team as the vice president of Sales & Marketing. Robson comes from Textron's E-Z-GO business unit where he most recently served as vice president of the Specialty and Used Car business.

"Bill brings a wealth of sales and marketing experience to Greenlee that will prove instrumental to our organization as we aggressively drive to meet the growth goals we've established in our existing and adjacent channels," said Scott Hall, president of Greenlee. "His proven leadership both within Textron and our industry will provide the strategic direction needed to maintain our competitive edge in today's marketplace."

Robson will be responsible for leading the sales and marketing area of the business, defining Greenlee's go to market and branding strategy as an innovative market leader and driving Greenlee forward as its global footprint increases. His strategic leadership will be focused on launching new products, programs, promotions and sales tools that drive customer value, and providing oversight and direction to the sales team with an eye to actively taking market share. Robson will lead his team in further building on the long history Greenlee has as the premier source of professional grade tools and testing equipment.

Robson has accomplished much since joining Textron in 1995, having served in a variety of leadership positions. Most recently, he led E-Z-GO as vice president of Specialty Vehicle Sales, with clear and impressive results - doubling the volume of specialty vehicles and significantly reducing the used car inventory for E-Z-GO. Prior to coming to Textron, Robson led the marketing team at General Cable Company, where he was responsible for two aerial device and utility vehicle product lines for the telecommunications, electric utility and contractor markets. Robson's 29 years of successful leadership in sales, marketing, distribution and dealer management, complemented by his leadership in key business processes, such as Textron's Goal Deployment Process and Textron Six Sigma, will be beneficial to Greenlee.

Robson holds a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Denver and Bachelor's of Science degrees in Economics and Art History from Florida State University. He completed his Textron Six Sigma Academy Black Belt Training in 2002.
