Graco Relocates its Gusmer|Decker RIM Business to Ohio
MINNEAPOLIS - Oct. 13, 2006 - Graco announced that its Gusmer|Decker reaction injection molding (RIM) business will be moving from Lakewood, N.J. to North Canton, Ohio in November 2006. The more centralized location will better serve North American RIM and automotive customers.
"By staging and overlapping critical functions between the Lakewood and North Canton locations, we will provide uninterrupted service during the relocation," said Jeff Johnson, Graco's Director of Sales and Marketing for the RIM group. "We have also increased components and systems inventory to ensure uninterrupted supply to our customers."
With a new 58,000 square foot expansion, the Ohio facility is fully equipped to support increased RIM production and other critical business functions. The new location provides a 10,000 square foot demonstration center to drive improved customer training for application and product development. It also has an additional 30,000 square feet for staging requirements of large projects. The technical service and sales team will remain geographically dispersed throughout the United States and Canada.
