Goodrich Donates $50,000 to Wounded Warrior Project

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Nov. 17, 2010 -- Goodrich Corporation (NYSE: GR) has concluded a week of honoring those who have served and are currently serving in the U.S. military with a $50,000 donation to the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). The WWP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that works to honor and empower wounded warriors and their families.

Goodrich has a four-part strategy to support the WWP that includes support from the Goodrich Foundation, the company's ISR Systems and Sensors and Integrated Systems businesses, raising and donating funds to the WWP, employees volunteering in support of the WWP and skills training for wounded warriors in specialized ISR jobs.

Presenting the $50,000 donation on behalf of the foundation, Tom Bergeron, President of Goodrich's ISR Systems business said, "This donation represents just a part of the commitment Goodrich and its employees are making to our Wounded Warriors and those who sacrifice so much for our nation. Every day Goodrich employees work hard to provide the war fighter with the tools and technologies needed to accomplish their mission and we feel it is just as important to give support to our wounded warriors and their families."

Employees have come together to raise awareness and support the WWP by participating in events like the First Annual Boston WWP Soldier Ride where 'Team Goodrich' raised over $6,500. At another Goodrich location, employees supported the packaging of care parcels to be sent out to soldiers deployed.

Many Goodrich ISR Systems employees have purchased and worn shirts that say "Goodrich - Proud Supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project." This statement is not only true for the business unit which works to provide intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance for the war fighter on the frontline, but is also true for all Goodrich employees who have participated in the Veterans' Week of Honor, and all activities benefiting wounded warriors.
