CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 20, 2011 - Goodrich Corporation's (NYSE: GR) Sensors and Integrated Systems business in Plymouth, UK has won a 2011 Queen's Award for Enterprise, the highest official UK honor for British businesses. The award, in the category of international trade, recognizes a tripling of exports by the former Atlantic Inertial Systems (AIS) business, which was acquired by Goodrich in 2009.

Brian Gora, president of Goodrich's Sensors and Integrated Systems business said, "This honor underscores how the Goodrich team in Plymouth continues its exceptional track record of providing advanced performance, capability and support for its customers. Its remarkable growth in exports upholds our continued drive to stay ahead of the market and create even smaller, more precise and more capable systems. The Plymouth team is fundamental to supporting Goodrich's balanced growth strategy to increase our defense footprint with products that the military needs today."

The Queen's Awards for Enterprise recognize outstanding achievement by UK businesses in the categories of international trade, innovation and sustainable development. The awards are made annually by Her Majesty The Queen, are judged to a demanding level, and are only given for the highest levels of excellence demonstrated in each category. In the international trade category, a business must be able to show that it has achieved outstanding growth in overseas earnings and commercial success.
