Gillinder Glass Moves Pittsburgh Business Development, Engineering Offices to Better Serve Our Customers

PORT JERVIS, N.Y. – Charlie Gillinder, president of Gillinder Glass, recently announced that the company has relocated its Pittsburgh, Pa.-area business development and engineering offices to larger quarters to accommodate an expanded staff and better serve the growing regional customer base. Gillinder also pointed out that “the convenience of being near a major transportation hub (Pittsburgh International Airport) is also important for the increasing frequency with which our business development and engineering staff are traveling to customer locations nationally and internationally.”

In addition to the Pittsburgh-area office, Gillinder maintains business development and engineering offices in its corporate headquarters in Port Jervis, New York, and in Southeastern Virginia. The company is also in the process of expanding its business development, engineering and quality control operations in China. Gillinder further explained that “as part of always striving to better serve our customers, we want to be located in proximity to where they are clustered and also close to convenient transportation to facilitate the personal attention each deserves from our business development and engineering team.”

Via video-conferencing from his new office in the Pittsburgh area, Vice-President Dave Fox further elaborated: “The offices are much more conducive to customer visits and large enough for us to have a testing and optical evaluation lab. It is a mini version of the larger fully equipped lab located in our corporate headquarters in Port Jervis, New York. This enables us to not only rapidly assist customer engineering teams with new designs, but also to perform proof of design tests to verify the effectiveness of the design.”
